Bus 0022 was just a demonstrator that run for a couple of weeks, back in 2018. The X17J was replaced during a bus route redesign, so it doesn't exist anymore. It ran up to every 5 minutes during the rush hour.

You're right. I was also going through some TikTok videos, and it appears there is a second unit that also only has 2 doors total. That means there are at least 2 Neoplans that aren't MUNI.

Transurbano service has never been quite good, for both the passenger and the buses. Service is inconsistent, fares vary wildly between drivers, and the buses are grinded to the ground with no maintenance.

@@GojiMet86 your right but it used to be a lot better, I feel like the pandemic changed it because after that service got worse. Before the pandemic the buses were newer and the bus stops were in good shape. Service was alright but albeit not good, but after the pandemic I noticed they started to repaint the red buses to transurbano to reuse them because I guess the municipality was too lazy to fix the newer buses so they just put the broke. Newer buses in a plot of land. The bus stops decayed as the one I use losts it’s paint (it used to be blue now but now it’s Yellow) and people have vandalized it but the corrupt officials at transurbano won’t do anything about it.

​@@ZhangYong02 Oh yeah, it has gone way downhill across the city. It was way busier in 2015 and 2016. So much more variety of buses. Even in 2021, Transurbano was still limping along. But the pandemic was actually the end for all the red buses. The only ones I saw in 2021 are two that were, and still are, abandoned on San Juan by Periferico. The Transurbano operators are the same guys who ran the red buses, the AEAU (Asociación de Empresarios de Autobuses Urbanos). They are a shady bunch. For example, for many years the AEAU kept reporting they had 3,000 buses in service to get subsidies, but only ~800 were actually serviceable. So where did that money go?...... Or they kept saying the fare was officially like Q2 on the prepaid SIGA fare card, but then passengers reported the driver had them pay Q5 or more. Still a problem. It was never a city operation, unlike Transmetro, which is directly controlled and operated by the Municipality. The Transurbano project was just about giving AEAU new buses and a rebranding. The intention was 3,150 new buses (3000 standard and 150 articulated), but they only ended up with 445 buses and no articulated one. And the money mysteriously gone... The project started off in 2010 with Phase I in the south (routes 250 to 257 and 281 to 288). Then Phase II in the north (routes 260 to 268, 300, 300A, and 309 to 312). Then more routes in future Phases III (Mixco) and IV. Starting around 2015-2016, it appeared they "took over" some of the red bus lines (the 36, 37, 60, 63, 69, 84, 110, 203, etc). These buses used Transurbano branding. More on this later. But they needed more buses than just the original 445 for the takeover. So they supplemented the fleet by transferring and repainting the "best" and "youngest" red buses into Transurbano, ditched the much older ones, and imported American transit buses. The pandemic was the biggest hit. The AEAU got rid of all the red Masa C11 buses. The Caio Vitorias are almost extinct in the city, only being used on the Transurbano 110 route to Santa Catarina Pinula (SCP) and by Transmetro on their feeder lines. The shady fun doesn't stop there, though. SIGA and Transurbano came out with a notice in March 2023 saying that some supposedly Transurbano routes (specifically 63, 65, 66, 67, 69, 110, 203, 301, 302, 305, and 306) were not actually Transurbano routes......which is just confusing AF for everyone involved. In fact, in writing this comment I found out that the supposedly Transurbano 110 and 203 are run by Asociacion de Transportistas EGA, who also run the Mixco Express lines. And recently, I read drivers in the southern sector (routes 250s and 280s) broke away from Transurbano and are doing their own thing. Painting their buses green and blue, mimicking the new Transmetro-run TuBus system (probably to fool people into thinking they are also part of TuBus). TuBus is the new Guatemala City transit system, part of Transmetro and with completely new buses. There are 4 lines now, with hopefully many more to come. The surrounding municipalities (Mixco, SCP, Villa Nueva) have stepped up their involvment in transit, although service is still down compared to 2016. The Mixco Express buses are mostly recent imports, either used Blue Bird school buses or used Brazilian-built transit buses, although there are a few former red buses floating around with a new Mixco coat of paint. But they are not really run by Muni Mixco. Again, they are operated EGA. TransPinula in Santa Catarina Pinula is a BRT system with completely new buses. TransMIO (operates from Centra Sur to Villa Nueva) uses New Flyer D40LF and Ayco Cosmopolitans.

@@GojiMet86 All of your info is correct except I heard tu bus is run by the municipality, let’s hope this one doesn’t turn up like a failure like transurbano. I also heard of metro riel, if they could allow service like that they wouldn’t have to worry about roads because it’s on rail. If you search up Christian Alvarez transurbano there’s a video where a senator visits a graveyard of new transurbano buses that never got repairs.

@@ZhangYong02 That line is going to run on the old FEGUA freight line. The thing is, Guatemala is also restarting their railroad. Their map I saw shows this exact corridor being used, so I wonder if Metroriel and FEGUA are going to share it. Or if one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. I do hope they build a subway one day as well. There was a proposal for an east-west line.

This was done in 2014. The MTA said this part of Queens was seeing higher ridership, so they extended the Q19, beefed up Q103 service, and straightened the Q102. Historically, the Q19 served this area when it ran via 21st Street and Ditmars Boulevard before the Triboro Bridge was built, back in the 1920s. At some point is was cut back.

There are different types of R211 trains. One version, the R211A, will be like the regular trains. So no gangway, only doors. The R211T will have the passageway between the cars.
